Manager
Airline Services
Dennis Gleason joined Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in December of 2022. In his current role as Manager, Airline Services, he oversees airline relations and air service development, leading LAWA’s efforts to establish new routes to unserved domestic and international destinations and increase frequency on existing routes.
Prior to joining LAWA, he worked in Los Angeles City Hall for 13 years, as Press Secretary to Councilmember and former LAPD Chief Bernard C. Parks and Policy Director to Councilmember Joe Buscaino, advising him on all motions, resolutions, reports, and ordinances that came before the City Council, and the policy committees in which Buscaino was a member, including Trade, Travel & Tourism, where Buscaino served as Chairman. Notably, he played a key role in securing City Council approval for LAWA’s multi-billion dollar modernization programs at LAX.
